Employee Background Checks

Livingood Lab Services, LLC utilizes an array of background checks and provides a range of services.

 

National Criminal Super Search – The National Criminal “Super” Search conducts a nationwide (including the District of Columbia) search of criminal records. Each report contains a wealth of information, including felony and misdemeanor records, sex-offender records, inmate records and in some cases arrest information.

State Criminal Search – The State Criminal Search combines multiple sources of information in a single search. Report information may include but is not limited to court-level felony records, court-level misdemeanor records, traffic records, department of corrections data and information from state sex-offender registries.

County Criminal Search – The County Criminal Search provides criminal records held at the county-seat level. Reports generally include felony and/or misdemeanor records. A single-county search is especially valuable when you need to perform a more comprehensive and/or current database search.

National Sex Offender Search – The National Sex Offender Search includes sex-offender records provided by each state. Reports contain information on sex offenders from 50 states plus the District of Columbia. The offense levels listed will vary by state. This check is included in the National Criminal Super Search.

State Sex Offender Search – The State Sex Offender Search includes sex-offender records from a specific state. The offense levels listed will vary by state.

Social Security Number Verification – Social Security Number Verification consists of verifying the applicant’s name to the Social Security number as reported by the Social Security Administration and the three credit bureaus. Report information may include but is not limited to current and former addresses, the applicant’s age and/or date of birth and the applicant’s county of residence. This check is included in the National Criminal Super Search.

Education Verification – Education Verification Reports verify an applicant’s level of formal education and confirm schools attended, degrees obtained, attendance dates and grade point average. Reports are useful for determining a candidate’s qualifications and establishing salary ranges for new hires.

Employment Verification – Employment Verification Reports validate an applicant’s current and previous employment, including dates of employment, job titles, job duties, reasons for leaving, attendance, employee ratings and eligibility for rehire.

DOT Employment Verification – Department of Transportation (DOT) Employment Verification utilizes the supervisor questionnaire to address a series of questions regarding past employment. It also includes drug and alcohol background checks that are required for valid DOT employment.

Business Background Verification – Business Background Verification searches upper and lower courts for company information.
