Buccal Swab – While some labs use blood samples for testing, a less intrusive method that we use is a painless buccal swab, similar to a cotton swab to collect samples from the inside of the participant’s cheek.

Additional children – Additional children can be added to the testing.

Paternal Grandparent – Paternity testing utilizing paternal grandparent when father is unavailable.

Other Studies – Family studies and sibling studies are available.

Mobile Unit – We have a mobile unit and can come to your location at your convenience. We serve the surrounding counties including, Bartow, Floyd, Polk, Paulding, Cobb, Cherokee, Gordon, Whitfield, Murray, Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Bibb, Baldwin, Jones, Washington, and Wilkinson. An additional fee is added when the party’s location is outside this area.

Confidentiality – The process is strictly confidential as Livingood Lab Services follows HIPAA guidelines.

Timeline – The process takes approximately 10-14 business days to receive final printout with results.
